its indiana jones style He goes to a jungle and finds a monkey in a cave, all this happens during WW2, he gets chased down by a german too!

I am sure you've all seen that famous one, he sets off a boulder, que action music.

anyhow, why is it after 2-3 years that ive finally come to realize all these easter eggs?

Hmm, it has Harrison Ford in it, its the one where he goes into the cave, sees the golden statue, and gets chased by a rock. I THINK Its "the last crusade', but i am not sure.

Well there are also the Indiana Jones tv series when he was young and fought in the first world war called "The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones". I used to watch them when I was a kid, the main actor is not Harrison Ford but Sean Patrick Flanery:

I think the one with the spherical rock was Raiders of the Lost Ark. In that one is a German aircraft where he and a big mechanic fight. It seems to be a fantasy plane but it was not. It is based on this one. Look. http://www.luft46.com/jgart/jg329-1.jpg

In Mission 6: The Guns of Savo Island the Allied Pilot, the sea plane and
the Gold Monkey statue refer to the old but famous TV Series: Tales of The Golden Monkey.

Not Indiana Jones I am afraid. And Raiders are around 1936, not during WW2.
