With the release of the mod tools for the game, it came with a wav2ogg converter.
I've been working on an addon for my sound mods but they are still in the testing phase.
I was thinking about releasing my mods into .ogg format and if there is an addon mod, to release it in .ogg as well. It would be a shorter d/l and overwriting of the .sb files would not be required. Backing up the orginal files would all that would be necessary.
New tools, new mod?

I'd say for the long run it would probably be better, OfficerPuppy. The file compression is 10 to 1 or better. Probably not a big deal with the effects sounds, but for the music it will make a great difference in download size.
Just my 2 cents anyway.
