|I've found whilst changing the key bindings (e.g., in Teclas\Standard\ModeloBatalla\UIDefs_HotKeyBatalla.sb) that you do not need to unpack data.pak etc for your changes to take effect.
This can save a lot of disk space, and makes installing mods much easier (as you only need to copy the new files, and not muck about with the pak files).
1. Identify the file in the .pak that you want to change.
2. Extract just that file.
3. Below the "Imperial Glory" folder, create a directory structure that replicates the directory structure in the .pak for the file, e.g., for UIDefs_HotKeyBatalla.sb I need to create the directory structure "Imperial Glory\Teclas\Standard\ModeloBatalla".
4. Put the extracted file into the new directory.
5. Edit the file.
6. When you run IG, it will look first in the sub-directories below "Imperial Glory" for the data files; if it does not find them there, it looks in the .pak file instead.
This works with key bindings, and camera settings, and I should think it works with other changes too.
Please accept my apologies if this is already generally known.
