Traitor

Post by Gentry29 »

I am wearing a generals uniform and I get into a building and a siren goes off, a truck drives away and the mission is over. I did not kill the 6 soldiers outside the building 8)

If any of the soldiers you killed was seen by another soldier, that could be it.

What I did was over take the building before he came in.... Then i had my commandos set up on each door. The minute he came in, boom boom boom, no questions asked. I pretty much almost never went out, except when the mission was over.

However, i tried it another way, with the sniper rifle, but not at that location. I positioned my sniper in the small window above the door in the building where he enters. That is such a pimp spot. The minute he comes out of the car you can just shoot him, job done.

The problem with taking the building over is I am underground and have to kill all of those first, then find the manhole, get the officers unfirm and give it to SPY. Where in the building is he located, oen the first floor with all the others, or up the ladder. :)

You do not need to do anything. I never had a uniform. The traitor walks into the building expecting the german officer to be there. that was the case for me anyway =(

I have killed all the people and when Spy went to the roof, a timer started ticking down. I have moved the Green Beret and the sniper into the building across the street. The spy has a rifle with 6 shots, what should I look for. 8)

I did it like this:

I cleared the whole area near the entrance of the building at the center of the map.
I cleared the whole area around the building the traitor will enter (if he makes it that far. ;) Most probably this is the first building everyone enters playing this mission. It has an awning at the front.)
Then I cleared the pentagon shaped building, which is next to where you see those 6 Gestapo soldiers standing in front of. In one of the rooms there is a box with a sniper rifle. Get it out of the box and a timer starts ticking. I then positioned all my soldiers, exept the Spy, inside the building with the awning. Before I did that I made sure the Spy had some grenades. I then positioned him on the stairs of the building in the center.
I pressed the timer (which makes it stop and lets the traitor come out his shelter place) and waited for a black armoured car to pass by. I threw a grenade on top of it, and another one when the traitor exited the car.

What you have to do next is up to you. :)

sick & Gentry- you have to remember that some C3 discs do not function. When I had the game in that mission there was a bug where that was. The car drove up and the mission ended no matter what. I did a save at an earlier part and tried every kill scenario I could think of with grenades snipers etc. and the dumb thing always ended the same- no good. Image

I did not have enough grenades, so I had to start over, How do I kill the parade of six soldiers that march in front of the awning building, since there are not any first aid kis, except early? Thanks for the help, I am so new at this.... :)

If i were you, i'd take out a few officers. I believe there are crates where the gestapo is patroling, along the fenced area. Kill them [quietly] and take their weapons, and i believe there are a few crate boxes there, take whatever is inside. Do not do what the mission tells you to do, do what you think YOU should do :). Don't go where the mission tells you to, because you wont understand (i didnt either...). Instead, grab all your guys, setup a defensive ambush. You DO NOT need grenades, they are an accessory. What you need is good timing, and a bit of practice. All in all, when the time comes, be ready to shoot the bastard. I'll try to provide for you a few screenshots.

I have the stuff in the boxes next to the building. I got those by stabbing the two guards. When I kill the last person in the building and get the box behind the curtain, the time starts.

I got him, I got him, but it took a risky move. I went and got the two big bombs and placed on in the downstairs room where he meets. I have the other one. When they allgot in the rom, WHAMM!!!!, all were dead. Now, it says something about escaping near a door near the prison :D

Hahah :). Okay, dont save too quickly now. You have to explore the map. Take down a detailed note of where the soldiers are. You will see on the east side (from the sewer) building.. leading to a \ \ road. You will see a kubelwaggen (or whatever.. a simple car). You need to hop on into that and bust out of there. Good luck :D

I was able to sneak past three people, stabb two of them and get in the car, that was hard work. I am now in the Normandy part and I am in a dark area. I have managed to kill the dog with the green dog food. I look in the house and there are too many soldiers, should I try and take out the officer that is by himself and not the one with the two escorts. :)

No i didnt bother with many of those soldiers. Your objective is sabotage, not massacre :P.

Kill the soldiers you need to.. and do it quietly, dont raise a single alarm.. or else the vehicles leave; and you lose. :( Be quick about destroying the vehicles, and cause maximum amount of damage without using a lot of explosives.. youre going to need all of them.

It says my first objective is toget some explosives from some building, which one is it, the one with the officer or the two next to each other. I am punching soldiers, tying them up and hiding them 8)

good.

explore every building :D. Dont ask simple questions like that if you can solve it for yourself. Either way its good to explore the level carefully.. see if you can find any easter eggs!

Yes, try the mission for yourself :). Explore tactics instead of asking questions every 2 seconds.. you'll learn more.

Thanks for the help. There has not been much since I last wrote. I am in the Normandy section trying to destroy two ships with two grenades.

I don't know if anybody else had noticed this but the GB can carry the boxes that contain the bombs, the sniper rifle and the German uniform around. After clearing nearly the entire map I used the GB to carry the boxes inside the middle building (with the pillars)... then knowing that you have a certain amount of time at your disposal, i picked up the uniform for the spy and placed him near the motorcycle at the left of the above mentioned building, the sniper on the roof overlooking the building and I placed both bombs in the entrance of the target building on the left, and the sapper on the roof alongside with the sniper. So like in a JFK style of crossfire I could use all methods available. My preferred one is of course highly explosive
