Leaders should be able to board ships alone.
Arty range is to short.
It should be harder to peacefully annex.
Orders while paused.
Slow down combat. Needs slider ala RTW.
Increase leader capacity or alow more than three leaders per zone.
If you can make a unit you can HEAL it to!!!!!
Militia is to strong.
Cannons should not kill your guys when firing thru the first unit.
Lancers should be near useless in woods. (maybe a dismount?)
Trading for food to raw mat should be allowed and multiple turn trades.
Troops should be able to move thru friendly zones without a leader.
These are my thoughts on how to improve the game. FWIW

Sometimes countries offer me deals and I can't "see" them, this is wrong
if they can send trades to me I should be able to send to them.
Units should be upgradable, not just a quest to do it.
Defenders should not have to run to a good defensive position they were
already in the province.
Naming units would be nice.
More units.
Some of this would be expansion pack stuff.
I like this game and only want to see it get better.

My list:
1. Increase the artillery range.
2. Lower the instant overkill on infantry when attacked by cavalry. Cavlry rides in - 30 people fall over and drop dead instantly. Looks kinda silly. Very frustrating too. At least drag it out a little.
