Soundtracks ... remixed and mastered?

Post by Jovan »

If you bought the C2/C3 Soundtrack you will note that they sound very different, much sharper in some cases than in-game, it's as if they have been remade from scratch.

Some of these are fantastic!

*edit*

Many of these actually have a pre-sequence of 30 seconds or so that really tie into the song, kind of like what they really are without the looping :) Very nice pre-sequences indeed.

Well I suppose it's pretty normal that if you buy the soundtrack it's of better quality. I suppose the files are also compressed for ingame use.

The soundtracks contain different portions of music than the ingame music of the actual games. This is very distinctive especially in the Praetorians soundtrack, in which, right on the 1st track, you are listening to a chorus singing in Latin... something that is not present in the game itself.

Pretty normal to me.
