Commandos 3 Mods

Post by SoldierX »

I have recently installed Sick's mod (the one where you can drive vehicles) but it says in the readme it updates the game to version 1.45.

So whenever I try to play multiplayer it freezes and crashes. I have tried to reinstall but it always remains 1.45.

Anyone know what the problem is?

Thank you,

Mmmz yeah, never thought of multiplayer...

To play online again you should delete the following files/folders:

All .BRI files from the DATA\BRIEFING folder

All .STR and .MIS files from the the following folders:
DATA\MISIONES\BER2
DATA\MISIONES\CP
DATA\MISIONES\TC
DATA\MISIONES\TUT2
DATA\MISIONES\TV

DATA\SONIDOS\BER2_ES_02a.WAV
DATA\SONIDOS\BER2_ES_02b.WAV

DATA\STR\CREDITS.STR
DATA\STR\GLOBAL.STR

Afterwards you should replace DATA\PARGLOBAL.DAT with the backed up file provided with the mod. Now things should be back to normal again. Another solution might be to get the people you play with to install the mod as well. Spread the word! ;)

Oh, I tried to replace Paraglobal but that didn't work, and thanks for the help now it's working. :)

How about driving tanks? I am developing one! :D

And next time the modders should release mods as singleplayer mods. The problem of un-installation can be fixed if the authors release the mod compressed by an installation wizard.
